Francis Syms
Managing Partner & Chairman of the Board
Francis has worked in telecommunications for over 20 years. His education includes a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University and Masters of Applied Science from the University of Toronto. Over the course of his career, Francis has completed long-term assignments in Latin America, Europe and Asia. He has managed development teams, test teams and project management teams. Francis has served in engineering & leadership roles in start-ups and large multinational firms. In his spare time, Francis enjoys playing Ultimate and the piano.
Joe Pellegrino
Senior Partner & Board Director
Joseph is a highly experienced manager of programs and teams, with over 35 years of experience across Canada and the globe. The most recent 28 years have been focused in the Telecommunications Industry with major telecommunications equipment manufacturers and telecommunications service providers. Joseph has successfully managed programs and teams ranging from skunk work product development teams to large international hardware and software development teams. Joseph is a PMP and a member of good standing with the PMI organization since 1990. He enjoys golfing and bike riding in the summer and wood working in the winter.
David J Smith
Board Director
David is an experienced telecom/datacom executive with over 20 years of industry experience. He holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and the Chartered Director designation from McMaster University. David is currently the CTO at ORION, a not-for-profit corporation providing network infrastructure in support of research, education and innovation in Ontario. David is an avid runner, sailor and downhill skier.
